3M Scotchcast Inline Resin Power Cable Splice Kit 82-A1N is designed to insulate and seal 5kV rated unshielded, single conductor cables and 1kV rated multiple conductor cables. Quickly and easily insulate and create a permanent watertight seal for use in weather-exposed or direct-burial locations without the need for heat or additional tools. Designed to not melt or run once cured and stable at elevated temperatures. Two-part closed mixing pouch simplifies mixing and pouring, generating its own heat to cure. Includes a mold body, pouring spouts, 23 electrical tape and No. 4N resin. UL listed for direct burial and submerged applications up to 600 V and 90 C. For use with UL listed connectors only. Applications: Replace or repair the jacket on both single and multi-core power cables, Insulate between conductors of multi-core splices operating up to 8kV, Seal the crotch or sheath when terminating multi-core cables.
